About Music Lab

Music Lab is an innovative institution established in 2022 and directed by the artist Dana Al Meer with the support of Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums. Music Lab is dedicated to empowering local young talents and providing them with a dynamic creative space to improve their singing skills, express themselves through music and create a thriving music community in Qatar. The Music Lab team consists of the same passionate individuals that have been curating Ajyal Tunes concerts in collaboration with the Doha Film Institute, as part of the Ajyal Film Festival held annually by DFI.

Mission and Vision

Mission: To provide young talents across Qatar with the opportunity to participate in year-long events and activities. These experiences allow them to explore the many facets of singing and performing arts in an edutainment environment and express themselves authentically on stage while upholding their core values, ethics and traditions.

Vision: Music Lab aims to be the go-to hub for music lovers, inspiring young talents to realize their potential in singing and performing arts. Through their talent and skills, we aim to enrich the community and encourage everyone to share the joy of artistic expression.

Workshops and Masterclasses

We offer a varied selection of workshops in singing and performing arts, collaborating with accomplished artists and expert instructors. Our goal is to nurture and enhance the abilities of aspiring young talents in Qatar.

Producing Music

We work on producing, arranging, and composing music. This includes re-arranging, mixing, and mastering existing songs and creating original music.
