3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum to Host “Let the Games Begin 3-2-1 Summer Olympics Festival”

The Festival Marks 40 Years of Qatar's Olympic Participation

As the world gears up for the Olympic Games Paris 2024, Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum (QOSM) will host Let the Games Begin: 3-2-1 Summer Olympics Festival to commemorate 40 years of Qatar’s participation in the Olympic Games.

The festival will take place at 3-2-1 QOSM from 16:00 to 19:00, Sunday 28 July to Sunday 4 August 2024, offering a variety of engaging activities for all ages. Each day of the festival will feature live Olympic sports demonstrations; educational activities focused on the Olympic logo design, mascots and medals; guided tours on Olympic history, workshops and storytelling sessions themed around the Olympics.

The daily schedule of the festival is as follows:

Sunday 28 July:

16:00 – 17:00: Olympic Design

16:00 – 18:00: Olympic Sports (Football, Golf, and Boxing)

17:00 – 18:00: Olympic Stories & Workshop

17:30 – 18:30: Olympic Tour (English)

Monday 29 July:

16:00 – 17:00: Olympic Design

16:00 – 18:00: Olympic Sports (Athletics and handballl)

17:00 – 18:00: Olympic Stories & Workshop

Wednesday 31 July:

Please note that QOSM will be closed on Tuesday 30 July.

As well as hosting the 3-2-1 Summer Olympics Festival, QOSM is staging an exhibition in France’s capital city from 31 July to 25 August at Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris Hotel. The exhibition, titled Olympism: More than a Dream, records 40 years of Qatar’s participation in the Olympics since 1984.
