Immersed in all the excitement and celebration during this historic moment in Qatar’s sporting history, one can find in the heart of Doha a view like no other at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park. MIA Park offers ample green space to unwind before or after the matches, watch the fireworks and other spectacular displays on the Corniche or simply enjoy an oasis of serenity. Amidst the bustle of the city, MIA Park is the destination to enjoy relaxing afternoon picnics and serene sunset strolls, complemented by a selection of local flavours available at kiosks and food trucks.

MIA and MIA Park are accessible through the museum’s main entrance and Qatar Museums Gallery -Al Riwaq entrance at the back of The Skyline or giant screen display.

While at MIA, a visit to the gift shop inside the Museum or the Pop-Up shop at MIA Park, is an opportunity to purchase a range of souvenirs including FIFA-licensed merchandise and product lines inspired by the “Baghdad: Eye’s Delight” exhibition. At the Al Riwaq gift shop, visitors have access to gifts inspired by the “Lusail Museum: Tales of A Connected World” and “Art Mill” exhibitions. For tasty quick bites, MIA Café located inside the museum offers chicken and lamb machboos to chicken biryani, crispy bread with turkey and compote cheese to refreshing drinks. It affords visitors a quiet moment at the lounge without missing the view of the Corniche and the scenic Doha skyline.

A stroll at MIA Park engages guests with an artful experience through public art installations by Yayoi Kusama. “My Soul Blooms Forever” is the largest outdoor exhibition of its kind to take place in the Gulf region. The exhibition consists of monumental sculptures and installations throughout MIA Park and Al Riwaq, including recent work such as the giant Dancing Pumpkin (2020) and renowned works such as Narcissus Garden (1966/2022).
