This medium-sized mosque located in the Abu Dhulauf area is distinguishable by its location close to the sea. Abu Dhulauf Mosque contains a prayer hall, a portico and an open courtyard with a recently restored minaret located in the northeastern corner. Attached to the mosque are the Imam's room, a service building and a small garden. Constructed in 1940, the original mosque was built entirely from old cement blocks mixed with sabban (small seashells). The wooden ceilings follow the traditional Qatari style and traditional materials such as mud, lime and anyhdrite were used for the plaster.
